from Route 581 Northbound: Take the Franklin Road exit and proceed under the Route 581 underpass and past the Old Southwest Neighborhood Welcome sign in the median. After the grassy median ends take your first RIGHT turn onto Woods Avenue, then proceed one block to the intersection of Third Street.  Turn RIGHT again and the bea-ing center is the last house on your LEFT, #1420. The entrance to the parking lot is just past the stone garden wall (take care as the driveway is steep) or you may park on the street.

from Route 581 Southbound: Take the Elm Avenue exit and proceed on Elm to the intersection with South Jefferson Street. Carilion Community Hospital/Jefferson College will be on your left and Elmwood Park will be on your right. Turn LEFT onto South Jefferson Street and follow to the third set of lights at Maple Avenue. Bear RIGHT onto Maple and at the first stop sign turn RIGHT onto Walnut Avenue, then follow Walnut two blocks to the intersection with 3rd Street. Turn LEFT onto 3rd Street and follow for one block past Woods Avenue to the next block. The bea-ing center is the last house on your LEFT, #1420.
